Dining with the A-League Champions
When Sam joined AGL’s Melbourne Victory VIP Plan, he went in the draw to win a VIP dinner with a group of Victory players at Gazi restaurant. And, he won!
There’s a special community that powers the Victory and we’re thrilled to be able to offer fans and members VIP discounts on AGL products and services and ‘money can’t buy’ opportunities as part of our partnership.
One of these special opportunities recently came the way of new AGL customer. When Sam joined AGL’s Melbourne Victory VIP Plan, he went in the draw to win a VIP dinner with a group of Melbourne Victory players at Gazi restaurant. And, he won!
As part of his prize, Sam could invite a friend along. Displaying the kind of strategic skill we’re used to seeing from Victory, he invited a friend from work, Gino, who also happens to be his manager. The pair were joined by Kosta Barbarouses, Lawrence Thomas, and Thomas Deng.
The group had lots to talk about, and “the conversations ranged from players on field experiences, background, training programs, holiday experiences, personal interests, ambitions, development and general banter.”
It was a fitting end to a great season for Victory, and Sam, who got to relive his favourite moment of Victory “winning the championship in Newcastle and becoming the most successful club in A-League history”, with the people who made it happen.
One further surprise for the pair came in the form of Masterchef’s George Calombaris, the owner of Gazi and Melbourne Victory diehard fan, who briefly came to join the table.
